William “BJ” Robinson
William BJ Robinson (he, him, his) is a self-described workaholic music man. He was born, raised, and educated in New Jersey, before following some of his family to San Diego in 2009. Since then, BJ has worked in musical direction, education, composition, and performance with: Southwestern College, All Saints' Episcopal Church, Grossmont College, The Old Globe Theatre, SeaWorld San Diego, Cane Toad Productions, San Diego Gay Men's Chorus, Vangaurd at Westminster Presbyterian Church, J Company Youth Theatre, San Diego Junior Theatre, Coronado Playhouse, St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Lamb's Players Theatre, Village Church Community Theatre, OB Playhouse, Lamplighters Community Theatre, and San Diego Repertory Theatre. While maintaining a private voice studio, BJ serves as the choir director for Christ United Presbyterian Church. BJ also hosts KPBS Arts, a weekly TV program about arts & culture on KPBS; and Tough Talk, a bi-weekly virtual discussion series that focuses on "getting comfortable with the uncomfortable" challenges in daily life.
