Mainstay Academics has assembled a team of academic coaches that are passionate about helping students and are invested in helping them find their way to greater success.
Whether your student attends public, private, homeschool, charter, or online school, our academic coaches work to spark curiosity and guide students to a deeper understanding of their studies. Partnered with WASC-accredited institutions and online platforms, we are able to provide tailored and dynamic academic support.
Our History
Picture this: it’s 2014, and two couples are sailing across San Diego Bay, laughing over sea spray and dreaming big. Jessica Lemoine, a math teacher with 25 years of classroom magic, and Corinna Goold, a homeschooling mom with 19 years of educational know-how, realized their mutual passion for education, sparking a friendship that would soon change lives. Over countless sails and chats about kids and learning, they began exploring ways to make education better for every student, no matter their needs.
Fast forward to 2020, when the pandemic turned schools upside down. Parents were overwhelmed, kids were struggling, and Jessica and Corinna’s phones wouldn’t stop ringing with pleas for help. Teaming up with Corinna’s husband, Billy, they founded Mainstay Academics, pulling together a crew of caring academic coaches. With a mix of heart, expertise, and a dash of fun, they’re here to guide students through any educational storm, making sure every family feels supported and understood.
